The Tucson real estate market stays hotter than ever, and that goes for homes that are just on the market and those that are not even finished. Meritage Homes, a national real estate development company headquartered in Scottsdale, recently announced three new developments in the Tucson area in addition to its many existing communities.
First, they announced retreats at Twin Peaks coming to Marana, a closed community designed for home beginners and newcomers. The community near I-10 and in the Marana Unified School District will have homes priced at $ 400,000. There will be more than 60 apartments, each up to 3,000 square meters. All homes are single story and range from three to four bedrooms and two to three bathrooms. Retreats at Twin Peaks is currently in the pre-sale phase.
Meritage also announced the purchase of 161 lots in the city of Tucson. This community will be called Valencia Crossing and the houses will be between 1,327 and 2,220 square feet. Valencia Crossing is being developed on Valencia Road south of Tucson near the Tucson Airport and the University of Arizona Tech Park.
“At Valencia Crossing, residents will enjoy beautiful single-family homes with a variety of design features along with leading-edge energy-efficient technology,” said Jeff Grobstein, division president of Meritage Homes Tucson, in a press release. “This, coupled with the convenient location and the generous common areas, offers the residents an ideal home.”
Finally, Meritage is opening a new phase in their Saguaros Viejos development in the Oro Valley. This new phase includes 86 houses starting in the mid-400s and ranging from 1,844 to 3,306 square meters. Saguaros Viejos is located off I-10 and is in the Amphitheater School District.
