Nationwide real estate development company Meritage Homes announced a new planned community, Houghton Reserve, just off Houghton Road and Broadway Boulevard in east Tucson. Meritage has completed the first purchase of 146 lots and development has already started. Meritage is also the name for several other new communities in Pima County, including Celebration at Gladden Farms, Saguaros Viejos, Retreats at Twin Peaks, and Las Patrias at Star Valley.

The condominium includes three rows of home designs ranging from 1,467 to 2,694 square feet. Meritage expects home sales to begin in the spring of 2022. With real estate and home demand in high demand across the Tucson area, Meritage aims to provide a “one-stop-shop for community sales and design”.

Although property prices are not currently available in this new development, other homes in Meritages Tucson locations generally start at a mid-range $ 300,000. Several homes in their other communities have already sold out while others are currently in their final sales opportunities. This development continues to expand the growing eastern and southern areas of Tucson, near the University of Arizona Tech Park, the Amazon Distribution Center, Saguaro National Park East, and Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.

VOLK Company’s Jeramy Price represented Main Street Town Center, LLC on the purchase of a net-leased Associated Dental at 4890 South Mission Road from Gerald G. & Adelina Popplewell and the Popplewell 1999 Family Trust for $ 769,100.

Gregory James Smith and Megan Kathleen Smith purchased an 8,100 square foot apartment complex at 910 Arizona St. in Huachuca City, AZ. Kali Apartments, a 17-unit apartment building, was purchased by Philip C. Sloss for $ 950,000. Rental agreements

ECN IT Solutions, LLC and DAS AZ02, LLC rented 1,200 square feet of industrial space from Plumer Partners, LLC at Commerce Plaza, 245 S. Plumer Ave., Suite 13, Tucson.
