Not sure how to safely remove papers and electronics with your private information?
Tanque Verde Lutheran Church and Arizona AARP are hosting a paper and electronics shredding event in the church parking lot at 8625 E. Tanque Verde Road on Saturday, October 23rd.
Each car can hand in up to five medium-sized boxes of paper for shredding. All electronic equipment, with the exception of tube televisions and monitors, is accepted for recycling, with the computer hard drives being destroyed on site. For a full list of items that will be accepted for recycling, please visit www.suburbanminers.com.
The event runs from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. or until the collection trucks are full. It’s free and open to all, but attendees are asked to donate canned food to the Eastern Church’s pantry.
Drivers should enter the church campus via the east entrance and follow the signs.
