TUCSON, AZ (3TV / CBS 5) – Tucson Airport Authority says one person died and another was seriously injured in a crash at Ryan Airfield Tuesday morning.

Officials say the incident happened around 7:15 a.m. using a Long EZ plane with two people on board. It crashed near the runway at Ryan Airfield.
Tucson Airport says the NTSB will respond to the scene and work with the FAA to investigate. The incident also has no impact on operations at Tucson International Airport.
Ryan Airfield is located on State Route 86, southwest of Tucson.
