TUCSON, Arizona (AP) – Arizona authorities are searching for the person who shot and fatally wounded a mountain lion in central Tucson.
An Arizona Game and Fish Department spokesman said the cat was euthanized after biologists determined it was unlikely to survive.
The Arizona Daily Star reports that the mountain lion was found Friday morning. Authorities believe he ran 200 meters and climbed a two-meter chain link fence before he was found based on the trail of blood.
