TUCSON, Arizona (KOLD News 13) – A 13-year-old dog named “Gidget” has a sad story, but “Gidget” has a happy ending thanks to the Pima Animal Care Center.
PACC says animal welfare officers were called to Gidget’s house because her owner died. They say when she was found everyone first thought that Gidget had also died while she was lying next to her.
The 13-year-old female did not want to leave her owner’s side.
Gidget is now being checked by the clinic for some lumps, bumps, and hair loss, but they say it just looks very sad overall.
Fortunately, Gidget found an adoptive partner who would give her all the love and attention she deserves.
