TUCSON, Arizona (KOLD News 13) – Union Pacific officials are investigating a fatal pedestrian collision with a train in Tucson on Sunday, October 10.
According to Tucson Police, it happened at the intersection of North Main Avenue and West 5th Street.
According to Union Pacific, a woman was hit and killed around 10:30 a.m. The road was closed for almost two hours.
It is the second fatal pedestrian train accident in Tucson in less than two weeks.
On September 28, a woman died when she was hit on the 400 block on South Toole Avenue.
