TUCSON, Arizona (KOLD News 13) – A 14-year-old boy is in custody Friday, October 22, after he and another suspect shot another man earlier this week, police said.

Tucson Police arrested Patrick Martinez on Friday at his home in South Midvale Park and West Headley Place. Martinez is charged with first degree murder and drive-by shooting. He was sent to the Pima County Youth Prison.

Officials had previously arrested Deandre Isaiah Antone, 19, who is facing the same charges.

Authorities were called to the parking lot at Mission Manor Park at around 3 a.m. on Monday, October 18, and found 21-year-old Ocean Frederick Washington with gunshot wounds. Although first responders treated him at the scene, Washington died there.

After gathering evidence and speaking to witnesses, detectives discovered that a large group of young adults was in the parking lot when someone pulled into the parking lot, sped around the group and fired multiple shots that hit Washington.
