TUCSON, AZ (KOLD news 13) – County Administrator Chuck Huckelberry was injured in a bicycle accident in downtown Tucson on Saturday, October 23.
According to official information, Huckelberry is in stable but critical condition at a local hospital.
According to Tucson Police, the investigation is ongoing and there are no outstanding vehicles. All those involved stayed on site.
The intersection of Congress Street and Church Avenue has reopened, according to Sun Tran.
There has been a surge in community support for Huckelberry.
Chuck Huckelberry was hit by a vehicle on his bicycle and is in critical but stable condition in the hospital. Chuck and I had our differences; but he’s one of the best administrators our community has ever seen. Chuck, my family, and I wish you all the best in your recovery.
