ORO VALLEY, AZ (3TV / CBS 5) – A regular dog walk for a man in suburban Tucson became frightening when a javelin throw was attacked Thursday morning. According to the Arizona Game and Fish Department, a man was walking his dog near the Oro Valley Country Club when a Javelina stormed them. The man picked up his dog and kicked the spear. But the spear bit the man in the foot. The officers did not say how badly he was injured.

The hunting and fishing department said it was the second Javelina attack of the month in the Oro Valley. Officials say if dog handlers see a Javelina they should head the other way if possible.
