TUCSON, Arizona (KOLD News 13) – Two teenagers are charged in connection with an attempted robbery that resulted in a fatal shootout on the east side of Tucson on July 14th.
On Wednesday July 21, Tucson police said Brian Lann, 16, and Samuel Salisbury Jones, 15, had been charged with first degree murder.
The TPD said Dean Ryan Marcishak, 19, was fatally shot and killed in an armed robbery in an apartment complex on East Broadway.
The officers ransacked Lann’s home and said they found evidence linking him to the shooting. Lann was arrested.
On July 20, investigators tied Jones to the shooting and arrested him while leaving a house near Southland and East Alvord.
Lann was also charged with attempted armed robbery on two counts in the July 14 incident and one armed robbery incident earlier this month.
Jones was also charged with two attempted armed robbery and parole violation.
