TUCSON, Arizona (KOLD News 13) – Tucson-born Liam Pace won gold at the X Games 2021 in Men’s Skateboard Park.
Pace beat Gavin Bottger and Tristan Rennie in second and third for the title on Friday, July 16.
A graduate of Tucson High School, Pace put his studies at the University of Arizona on hold to train for the Olympic exams, but sadly didn’t make it for the team.
In 2018, the 20-year-old skater also took 1st place in the amateur X-Games.
