TUCSON, Arizona (KOLD News 13) – Early Friday April 16, a man was arrested after a barricade situation on the west side of Tucson.
Tucson police said the incident at a house near Speedway and Grande ended at 9:30 a.m. and posed no threat to the public.
According to TPD, the incident started as a domestic violence phone call and it was believed the suspect was at that location.
The situation was treated like a barricaded issue.
The home was locked in and a search warrant was issued, but the suspect was not found in the home.
However, the officers were able to contact the suspect by phone and he was arrested at another location without incident.
