Man dragged to death in midtown Tucson

TUCSON, Arizona (KOLD News 13) – A man died after being dragged from a car in Midtown Tucson on Tuesday, August 17.

Tucson police said David Lamberto Munoz, 28, was run over in front of a supermarket at the intersection of Grant Road and Tucson Boulevard.

According to TPD, the driver of the car Munoz hit was impaired, but Munoz’s actions played a role in the accident.

Witnesses said Munoz “sat / crouched in the parking lot and behaved erratically” prior to the accident.

Munoz was hit by on Tucson Boulevard and then dragged into the supermarket parking lot.

The driver of the vehicle has not been identified, but the investigation is ongoing and the charges are pending.
