TPD seeking suspect following fatal shooting in midtown Tucson

TUCSON, Arizona (KOLD News 13) – Tucson police are searching for a suspect following a fatal shootout in Midtown on Tuesday November 2nd.

The officers said the officers were called to 4880 E. 29th Street just before 3:30 p.m., where they found a man with gunshot wounds.

The man later died of his injuries. Andres Guillermo Franco, 23, was identified as the victim.

According to witness statements, investigators believe that Franco was involved in a verbal argument with the suspect prior to the shooting.

According to the police, the suspect fled the scene on foot. Despite the efforts of TPD Air and K9 Unit, the suspect was not located.

Detectives ask anyone with information about the shooting to call 88-CRIME.
