TUCSON, Arizona (KOLD News 13) – Tucson International Airport (TUS) will offer COVID-19 vaccines before and during Labor Day weekend.
The Tucson Airport Authority (TAA), which operates TUS, has partnered with the Pima County Health Department, the Arizona Department of Health Services, and Premier Medical Group USA to provide vaccines to travelers, employees, and the community.
According to a press release, the vaccine will be administered in an office on the baggage claim level of the TUS near baggage carousel # 7.
All three COVID-19 vaccines, Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson, will be available for selection.
The Tucson Airport Fire Department worked with PCHD earlier this year to provide the vaccine to airport workers and their immediate family members. This time, for the first time, the vaccines will be offered to travelers and the general public.
Appointments are not required and walk-ins are welcome.
Operating times from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the following dates:
- Monday 23 August
- Friday, August 27th
- Monday, August 30th
- Thursday, September 2nd
- Friday 3rd September
- Monday, September 6th
- Tuesday September 7th
