Tucson police identify suspects in midtown shooting, crash

TUCSON, Arizona (KOLD News 13) – Tucson police have arrested two suspects after an accident that police say was related to a gunfight in Midtown on Tuesday April 13th.

A man was rushed to hospital for treatment for a gunshot wound. Police found the victim at 2800 block on North Edith Boulevard, which is near Glenn Street and Country Club Road.

The suspects were found in a nearby vehicle before it hit Alvernon Way and Pima Street. Both were taken to hospital for treatment for injuries, but were released and arrested.

They have been identified as 17-year-old Gabriel Miranda and 18-year-old Quincee Erwin.

Both suspects are charged with armed robbery, aggravated robbery, robbery, aggravated assault with a lethal weapon, first-degree burglary and aggravated assault.

Detectives are still investigating. Further information was not immediately available.
