TUCSON, Arizona (KOLD News 13) – A 49-year-old Tucson man was killed in an accident on the southwest side of Tucson early Friday, October 15, after he went off the road and collided with a raised concrete curb.
According to police, the man was thrown out and pronounced dead at the scene of the injuries sustained in the collision.
Officials said the motorcyclist was traveling west on State Route 86 west of Kinney Road and the accident happened just after midnight near South Kinney Road and West Ajo Highway.
The roadway was closed during the investigation into the crash, but was reopened at 8 a.m. The investigation continues and the soldiers are still working to determine the cause of the collision.
