TUCSON, Arizona (KOLD News 13) – A Tucson couple want to create a place where the community can relieve stress by destroying things.

“There is a lot of anger, frustration and stress in the world for a variety of reasons,” said Kim Ross, co-owner of Rage and Destruction. “The idea really came out of a desire to help people,” said Ross.

The couple started the business when Kim was fired from her hospitality job at the beginning of the pandemic. She says adults and children may need an electrical outlet now more than ever.

“You can scream and scream and shout people’s names and whatever you do and break things in the process,” Ross said.

She says even on her worst days there is nothing that a little controlled destruction cannot mitigate.

“When I’ve had a bad day, I go in there and grab a couple of beer bottles and smash them,” Ross said. “For some it is stress relief, for some it is anger management.”

She says the experience can even be customized to help people get rid of a specific situation that may have happened to them.

“If someone has been in the hospital for six months and wants to break up a hospital room, I’ll go out and get everything to make it look like a hospital room and you can go in and break the crap out of it,” Ross said.

To show their appreciation, the Rosses offer discounts to nurses, first responders, teachers, and military personnel.
