CONTENT WARNING: On October 5, officials arrived at Block 100 on East Fort Lowell Road near North Stone Avenue after receiving reports of gunfire in the area. The officers were able to locate Donte Lorenzo Laster (23) in a fenced-in business yard. Police attempted to contact Vise and issued several orders to drop the gun, a Tucson police press release said. Laster ignored orders, started firing the gun again, and was shot in the back of the store by Officer Michael Cooper, the news release said. Vice later died at Banner University Medical Center.
