First Veterans Affairs facility to implement automation and technology-enabled services to support more cost-effective workflows and improve pharmacy operations

(Nasdaq: OMCL) (“Omnicell” or the “Company”), a leading provider of drug management solutions and adherence tools for the Health Systems and Pharmacies, announced today that Tucson VA Medical Center has selected the Company’s Central Pharmacy Dispensing Service (“CPDS”) to improve patient safety, improve operational efficiency, and manage inventory for its central pharmacies to optimize.

The Veterans Health Administration is America’s largest integrated health system, serving 9 million enrolled veterans each year.

Arizona-based Tucson VA Medical Center will add the company’s CPDS to its Omnicell platform, which includes XR2 pharmacy dispensing technology, operations staff, maintenance support, and embedded intelligence for real-time insights.
