PackDash, an external logistics partner for small and medium-sized e-commerce companies, relocates its headquarters from Chicago and establishes a delivery company on the west coast in Tucson.
PackDash has leased 6,000 square feet for its new operation at 820 E. 16th Street, south of downtown Tucson. The company plans to create 50 jobs, including managers, directors, warehouses and additional executive positions, with an estimated economic impact of $ 84 million over 10 years, Sun Corridor Inc. said in a newsletter.
Services include standard e-commerce fulfillment; Creating premium unboxing experiences; Integration of e-commerce technology; Inventory onboarding; two day delivery; and faster, more personalized service for companies that ship fewer than 20,000 packages per month.
“We do things that our competitors don’t. That’s because we’re taking an entirely new approach to meeting the needs of startups and brands that can’t meet the minimum requirements of large mail order companies, ”said Dave DiCosola, Co-Founder of PackDash. “Tucson is a great location for our west coast customers and offers unbeatable connections to Mexico and China via the port of Tucson. In terms of headquarters, it was a dream of ours to ‘land and expand’ in Tucson and shape and shape its future with our team of technology-minded entrepreneurs. “
In addition to Sun Corridor Inc., the Arizona Commerce Authority, Pima County, the City of Tucson and the Tucson Metro Chamber played an active role in the project, the press release said.
