The risk paid off for the city, because nine of the 17 main departments had 100% complied with the contract by the end of the notice period. There is also no risk of losing more than 1% of their workforce for any of the other eight departments:
City Courts: 1 non-compliant employee, 1% of the department’s workforce.
Tucson Police Department: 1 employee, 0.1% of the workforce.
Public safety communication: 1 employee, 0.8% of the workforce.
Tucson Fire Department: 1 employee, 0.2% of the workforce.
General Environmental Services Department: 3 employees, 0.9% of the workforce.
Parks and Recreation: 1 employee, 0.5% of the workforce.
Tucson water: 1 employee, 0.2% of the workforce.
