Avelo Airlines will be launching a service from Tucson to Hollywood Burbank Airport, where Avelo is based, twice a week on December 16.

Tucson International Airport has received a new seasonal non-stop flight to Los Angeles, with introductory one-way fares starting at $ 29.

Avelo Airlines will start its bi-weekly flight from Tucson to Hollywood Burbank Airport, where Avelo is based, on December 16.

The flight operates on Thursdays and Sundays, departs Tucson at 8:50 PM and lands at Hollywood Burbank Airport at 9:30 PM. The return flight from Hollywood Burbank Airport departs at 5:40 pm and arrives in Tucson at 8:10 pm

Avelo plans to offer additional flights on selected Tuesdays and Saturdays during the main holiday season at the end of the year.

“One of our top priorities was securing a non-stop flight from Tucson International Airport to the Los Angeles Basin, and with these new flights to Hollywood Burbank on Avelo, we have a win-win situation,” said Danette Bewley, President and CEO from Tucson Airport Authority. “Southern Arizonans now have an easier and more convenient way to get to many destinations in the LA area, and Southern California, which is one of our top sources for visitors to Tucson, has another way to get here.”
