Tucson International Airport is offering COVID vaccinations through Labor Day | Business News

Vaccines will be available on a walk-in basis in baggage claim at Tucson International Airport.

Through Labor Day weekend, travelers and community members can now get the COVID-19 vaccine at Tucson International Airport.

All three types of COVID-19 vaccines (Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson) are available on select dates at 7250 S. Tucson Blvd. Airport. available for the first or second dose.

The Tucson Airport Authority has partnered with the Pima County Health Department, the Arizona Department of Health Services, and Premier Medical Group USA to provide service in an office on the baggage claim level near baggage carousel # 7.

Earlier this year, the Tucson Airport Authority set up vaccination doses for airport employees and their immediate families.

“Having vaccines in the terminal was the next logical step for us given the success of our free COVID-19 testing,” said Danette Bewley, President and CEO of TAA. “We want to make sure that everyone has every opportunity to get vaccinated because we are all there together.”

Vaccines will be available on a walk-in basis at Tucson International Airport. The opening times are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the following dates:
