TUCSON (KVOA) – Tucson Mayor Regina Romero and councilors will discuss the update of the city’s mask mandate on Tuesday.

It did so after the Pima County’s board of directors revoked the mandate of fully vaccinated individuals last week.

Masks are still required if state and local laws require it, such as: B. in hospitals, airplanes and public transportation, including Sun Tran Services.

The mayor and council previously directed the city attorney and city manager to interpret, administer, and enforce the city’s mask ordinance in a manner consistent with evolving CDC guidelines.

The city guides will hold the study session on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
