Hyundai Motor UK dominated the Carbuyer Best Car Awards 2022 with a total of six awards, including the prestigious “Car of the Year” award for the brand new Hyundai TUCSON SUV.

The TUCSON was also named “Best Family Car” and “Best Hybrid Car”. In addition, the Hyundai IONIQ 5 was hailed as “Best Company Car” and “Best Family Electric Car”, while the Hyundai i20 N was named “Best Hot Hatchback”.

All models were evaluated against market competitors in terms of cost, performance, comfort, safety and practicality, with the winners being selected after rigorous testing by the Carbuyer team of experts.

The multi-award-winning Hyundai TUCSON is both Carbuyer’s best family car and our best hybrid car for 2022. The futuristic-looking Hyundai IONIQ 5 is based on Hyundai’s groundbreaking Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), which offers faster charging, greater range, superior handling and more interior space. The IONIQ 5 not only revolutionizes sustainable mobility, but also offers an interior that offers a completely new driving experience – redefining living and exercise space. The IONIQ 5 uses environmentally friendly materials such as ecologically processed leather and recycled yarn.
