The downtown intersection on North Stone Ave. and East Toole Ave./West Franklin Street has fully reopened after road works as the lengthy Downtown Links project continues in the area. Video courtesy of the Tucson Department of Transportation and Mobility.
The intersection was partially reopened in late August as crews worked on the third phase of the Downtown Links construction project, which will connect the Barraza-Aviation Parkway and Interstate 10. The Tucson Department of Transportation and Mobility announced on the morning of September 16, 2021 that the intersection is now open to traffic in all directions.
