One lane of Interstate 10 to the west is closed on the southeast side of Tucson after a toxin leak Thursday morning.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety said a minor injury collision involving a semi-trailer truck carrying hazardous materials caused the shutdown. Emergency services and firefighters are on site.
Both east and west I-10 were closed on Thursday morning, but at 1 p.m. the east lanes reopened on Wilmot Road. Just before 3:30 p.m., officials said the right lane going west on Kolb Road remained closed, but the left lane was reopened.
DPS asks drivers to avoid the area.
