Man taken into custody following standoff in midtown Tucson

TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) – Authorities said a man who was barricaded in a Midtown apartment Monday, July 5, was taken into custody.

Police had closed Alvernon Way between Fort Lowell and Blacklidge during the situation.

According to Tucson Police, the incident started as a domestic incident. A woman and a child were not injured.
