Tucson venues are preparing for a busy winter that kicks off this weekend with a handful of shows that are well worth the price of admission.
Here are a few that caught our eye.
Ex-Fleetwood Mac guitarist and vocalist Lindsey Buckingham brings his really talented guitar sounds to the Fox Tucson Theater, 17 W. Congress St. on Sunday, December 5th at 7pm Weekend organized. Beginning with Tucson Transplant and Tony-nominated Broadway singer / actress Ann Hampton Callaway with sister Liz Callaway performing 1970s songs on Friday, December 3 at 7:00 pm; and the powerful singer-songwriter trio of Marc Cohn, Shawn Colvin and Sara Watkins – headlining on a triple bill – at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, December 4th. Tickets for Buckingham, with his recently released album of the same name (his first solo studio album in a decade), cost $ 42.50 to $ 99.50 through foxtucson.org. Tickets to Callaway cost $ 35 to $ 52.50, while tickets to the show by Cohn, Colvin Watkins cost $ 59 to $ 110.
The Rialto Theater, 318 E. Congress St., brings much-needed ease when it hosts comedian and Saturday Night Live alumnus Kevin Nealon on Thursday, December 2nd at 8pm
