Fiery I-10 crash north of Tucson leaves two dead, several injured | Crime and courts

Two people were killed and several injured in an accident on Interstate 10 near Casa Grande Wednesday morning.

A commercial articulated truck pulling an enclosed cargo trailer drove through the median and in western lanes and collided with two commercial trucks and several cars that caused the rollover, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said.

The indebted commercial vehicle then went up in flames, said DPS.

Two people died at the scene of their injuries, DPS said. Several other injured were flown or taken to hospitals in an ambulance.

State troopers planned to maintain traffic restrictions in the area for several hours during the investigation. I-10 going west is closed and I-10 going east is limited to two lanes.
