Northwest Fire said two people were dragged out of the Rillito River in a swift water rescue.

The Pima County’s Office of Emergency Management and Pima County’s Regional Flood Control District say flooding in the Finger Rock Wash is expected from banks. They warn of flooding in the houses.

Tucson DTM has also announced that the Camino de la Tierra on the Rillito River is closed due to rainwater runoff.

The Tucson Fire Department says the crews are making multiple calls for a quick water rescue. With the current flash flood warnings, TFD reminds the community to stay away from the streets.

Central Pima County has a severe thunderstorm warning until 2:15 p.m.

The National Weather Service tracked a storm with 20 mph winds 17 miles northwest of Green Valley.

The storm had winds of 60 miles per hour and quarter-size hail.

The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for East Central Pima County by 2:15 p.m.

The radar was tracking a storm with 60 mph gusts and quarter-size hail seven miles southeast of Three Points, moving west at 32 miles per hour.

1:24 p.m.

This national weather service has issued a major weather alert for the Eastern District of Santa Cruz.

The consultation should last until 1.30 p.m.

Winds in excess of 40 miles per hour were recorded in a thunderstorm nine miles southeast of Patagonia and 34 miles northeast of Nogales.

Nogales, Patagonia, Sonoita, Elgin, Nogales International Airport, Patagonia Lake State Park, Kino Springs, Canelo, Lochiel and Madera Canyon are covered by the advice.
