TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) – Tucson International Airport announced that it will offer COVID-19 vaccines to travelers and community members from November 22 to December 3.

According to a press release, it will offer all three vaccines (Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson).

Officials say anyone who needs their second dose or booster vaccination must bring their vaccination card.

The vaccines will be given in an office on the baggage claim level near baggage carousel # 7.

Vaccines are provided on a walk-in basis and appointments are not required.

The opening times are from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Monday, November 22nd
  • Tuesday, November 23rd
  • Wednesday November 24th
  • Thursday November 29th
  • Thursday December 2nd
  • Friday 3rd December

Officials say vaccines will be more routinely available starting Monday, December 6th. Starting this week, the POD will be manned every Monday, Thursday and Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The POD is for patients 12 years and older. Anyone in need of a pediatric dose will need to move to a different location, e.g. B. the Abrams Public Health Center at 3950 S Country Club Road.
