A 20-year-old woman who was a passenger in a car was killed on Saturday night when her driver lost control and the vehicle was hit by a pickup truck, police said.

Mary-Isabelle Raquel Rivas was in a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu at around 8:20 pm when the driver lost control of the vehicle in a lane of travel on East Valencia Road heading west near the South Nogales Highway, Tucson police said in a press release with.

The car jumped over the median and was hit by a 2006 Ford F-150 heading east, the statement said.

Others in the wreck were injured, but police say no one is critically injured.

The investigation continues.
