The year is drawing to a close and many are grateful for what they were able to achieve in 2020 – a year that saw many changes.
However, the methods of “supporting the local” are evolving in such a way that it is becoming more and more convenient to enjoy your favorite piece of pizza or decadent ice cream cone. One of these “new” ways to eat has actually been around for years, but 2020 has made it possible for old trends to become trendy again – much like the revival of drive-in theaters.
So look at the take-out / service window.
Several eateries across the city have either used a new take-away window in the past few months or have seen a surge in customer use of their window / pick-up options that have been available for years.
As a reminder, here are a few restaurants and shops (not all) that get the most out of their takeaway windows.
