The New Year brings new opportunities to help the community.
The culinary members of Tucson originals grab and help people dealing with food uncertainties by holding a drive.

“I think helping our community is more important now than ever,” said Tucson Originals board member, organizer of Food Drive and owner of Ghinis French caffe, Coralie Satta. “Although we suffer as small local restaurants too, we always have food and not everyone is so lucky. Creating space for a donation box at our locations is the least we can do. “
Other participating restaurants are Roccos Little Chicago, Brother John’s Beer, Bourbon & BBQ, Gourmet girl, True love, Fine hops, Fire truck brewery, Nice cook, Barrio Brewing Company, Pizza flames, and Bisbee breakfast club.
“Some of us also give thank you gifts to customers who help us,” said Satta. “At Ghini’s, we give a $ 5 gift certificate to anyone who donates five or more cans.”
Stay tuned for more details on all of the restaurants as the date approaches. Each location has dispensing boxes for unexpired canned goods and donation envelopes that will be picked up by the Food Bank on Friday, February 26th.
