Casino Del Sol will open SolSports in the former Paradiso Lounge.

Tucson live sports betting fans can now bet here at the Old Pueblo.

Casino Del Sol SolSports will open next month for such betting at 5655 W. Valencia Road.

The new venue will be in the former Paradiso Lounge with 60 televisions including jumbo flat screens, a fully stocked bar, food service and six live betting windows.

There will also be self-service betting kiosks in the Casino of the Sun, 7406 S. Camino de Oeste.

This addition is the result of expanded gambling legislation passed by Arizona legislators in April.

Desert Diamond casinos are also expected to offer these betting options this fall.

Casino Del Sol will act as the operator and bookmaker of the sports betting. OpenSports, a sports betting technology from Scientific Games, will serve as the backend platform for SolSports.

SolSports sports betting is tentatively slated to open in September pending Arizona Department of Gaming regulations.
