Avelo Airlines Announces Flights Between Burbank & Tucson – CBS Los Angeles

BURBANK (CBSLA) – Avelo Airlines announced on Thursday that new flights will be added to bring travelers between Hollywood Burbank Airport and Tucson, Arizona.

Starting December 16, flights will start starting at $ 29 on Thursdays and Sundays.

“We are excited to add this beautiful region to our portfolio of popular western travel destinations,” said Andrew Levy, Avelo Chairman / CEO. “As well as being a cultural mecca, Tucson has national parks, thriving culinary traditions, and year-round events and entertainment that we know our customers will enjoy.”

The route marks the airline’s 19th destination nationwide and the 11th available from Burbank.

Flights depart Burbank at 5:40 PM and Tucson at 8:50 PM

During the holiday season, the airline plans to offer additional flights on selected Tuesdays and Saturdays.
