I heard about the Better Buck program that Flagstaff introduced and that Sierra Vista is doing now. It provides “paper money” that the community can buy and distribute

Our homeless community. Many of us hesitate to spend real money because we don’t know what is being bought. Better Bucks does not allow you to buy tobacco or alcohol, but you can buy groceries, toiletries, etc. from various local stores. I would love to see this available in our generous community.
