loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle died on September 24, 2021 at the age of 66. Lee was born on June 30, 1955 in Tucson, Arizona. He graduated from Rincon High School and attended the University of Arizona while working in the real estate field.

Enthusiastic about movies at a young age, Lee left Tucson for Los Angeles to immerse himself in the glitz and glamor of Hollywood. Lee “Lizard” built a behind-the-scenes career in the film industry as a prop master, producer, and casual actor. He thrived in the industry and loved every second of his career. Lee was known in Hollywood for his prop truck, affectionately known as “The Big Blue Whale,” which housed thousands of props. He loved and was proud of his work and earned respect in the industry. Always “Hollywood Lee”, for those lucky enough to know him, Lee was really larger than life. He could make every excursion an adventure and every casual event an unforgettable event. If there was something to be done, Lee did well. His lovable personality and beaming smile earned him the lifelong friendship of countless people, including numerous Hollywood celebrities. He lived his life in bold colors to match his unique and colorful personality. There has never been a more thoughtful, kindhearted, gentler soul than Lee. He always put others in front of him. Lee opened his doors to friends who needed shelter. “Lee Lee” would always make others leave home with a stomach full of food and a smile on their faces. Lee loved people, but his real treasure was his love for his family. Lee left a precious daughter, Lacey Annie Lazarow, and a beautiful granddaughter, Kaliana Barbie Lazarow, whom he loved dearly. These two girls were indeed the lights of his life and what “he lived for”. Some of Lee’s joys have been taking his daughter to Disney, taking her to movie sets, and taking friends and family on vacation adventures. He really was a child at heart with a childlike sweetness and a heart of gold. In death his parents Benjamin and Pearl Lazarov preceded him; Brother Howard and nephew Ari Lazarov. Lee leaves behind his daughter Lacey Lazarow-Shoup (Brandon); Granddaughter Kaliana Lazarov; his brother Sheldon; Nephew Jason Lazarow and niece Heather Kose (Adrian). In his own words, Lee had a “great life”. Lee is not forgotten by his family or by those who spent his precious time with him. We will all love Lee forever and deeply as he lives on in our hearts.
