In the nine years since Erika and Jake Muñoz launched their Seis Curbside Kitchen food truck, the couple have opened two Seis Kitchen restaurants, including their walk-in flagship in the Mercado San Agustin on the west side.
On Monday July 26th, the couple opened their third one, this one in a new mall in the Oro Valley.
And they’re not done yet: the couple are still looking for a location in the east and don’t rule out venturing into the Phoenix market one day.
The Oro Valley location, 9740 N. Oracle Road near East Linda Vista Boulevard, is on 3,350 square feet of land that is neighbors with an outpost of the popular Dutch Bros. coffee chain.

The space has a 1,184 square meter wraparound L-shaped courtyard that can accommodate 60 guests and offers spectacular views of the nearby Pusch Ridge chain, as Erika Muñoz describes.
“It’s such a beautiful place,” she said.
Inside, the restaurant has 143 seats, which is roughly the size of the Seis Kitchen in Joesler Village on 1765 E. River Road, which opened in 2017.
The Oro Valley menu will be the same as in the other places – homemade dishes from different regions of Mexico. Like its sister restaurants, this one will serve breakfast burritos, including El Padre with Adobo steak and El Nino with Birria; and tacos for lunch and dinner, main courses and burritos, including crispy avocado tacos, a surf-and-turf burrito with steak and grilled shrimp, street tacos, tortas and quesadillas Mexico City style.
