La Fiesta de los Vaqueros Tucson Rodeo to return for 2022

TUCSON, Arizona (KGUN) – The Tucson Rodeo returns for the 2022 season!

After not returning this year due to the pandemic, La Fiesta de los Vaqueros Tucson Rodeo is returning to the Tucson Rodeo Grounds from February 19-27, 2022 to celebrate 97 years.

At Rodeo 2022, cowboys and cowgirls compete in seven different events, including:

• Riding bareback
• Bull riding
• Riding in the saddle
• Steer wrestling
• Team abseiling
• Lashing straps
• Women’s running race

Starting November 1st, parents can register their children for these events on tucsonrodeo.com.

“The Tucson Rodeo Committee looks forward to returning to rodeo action this February and continuing the tradition of this unique Tucson event,” said Mark Baird, chairman of the Tucson Rodeo Committee.

The rodeo will also feature a new VIP experience, including a behind-the-scenes tour of the rodeo grounds, VIP credentials, parking, food and drink with catering, and balcony seating at the announcement booth.

Tickets to rodeo events in Tucson range from $ 18 to $ 35.
