Geof passed away on November 7, 2021. He leaves behind his father, Bryce Boucher (Irina) Epping, NH; his mother, Toni Zlaket (Tom) Tucson, AZ; Siblings, Sergei Tuterov (Tanya), Seattle; Andrew Zlaket, Tucson, and Caroline Zlaket, Tucson and his grandparents Noreen Beecroft and Tom and Gloria Zlaket, Tucson. In death he was preceded by his grandparents Leonard and Vivian Boucher and his grandfather Don Beecroft.

Geof was a fun, kind, loyal, and generous son, brother, and friend with an old-fashioned work ethic. He was passionate about making good food, listening to great music, and playing poker. He owned and operated Cody’s Beef and Beans, invented and developed the Crow’s Nest app on the Google Play Store, and was a co-author of the short story anthology “Grosswords”. He was an experienced traveler who visited countless states, Russia and more than ten European countries. His lovely mind could remember the words to almost any song you can think of, or provide the perfect punch line from his joke of the day. His courage and good humor in the face of terrible adversity inspired his father to cast Geof as the protagonist, The Bear, in the best-selling young adult fantasy, The Scepter. There’s no question Geof is taking steps in his next chapter, likely with a Johnny Cash soundtrack. His life was an example of strength, courage, humor and love. May we honor him by living our lives the same way.
