TUCSON, Arizona (AP) – A man suspected of ten robberies in Tucson, including six banks, was arrested, according to police.

James Siehien, 52, is accused of robbing two of the six banks twice and also robbing a grocery store and a fast food restaurant, they said.

The robberies all occurred between October 4th and November 5th, when police say Siehien was arrested without incident following a robbery.

One criminal complaint stated that Siehien passed banknotes to bank employees and sometimes threatened them with weapons such as a machete or an ax.

According to the authorities, no one was physically injured in the raids.

The FBI’s Southern Arizona Crime and Gang Task Force worked with the Tucson Police Department to arrest the case.

It was unclear on Sunday whether Siehien still had a lawyer who could speak for him.
