“We think Barrio Queen will be the perfect match for Oro Valley.”

The popular Phoenix restaurant group, Queen neighborhood, officially opens a Tucson location on Two Oracle Plaza in Oracle and Ina Rd.

The concept is moving to the recently renovated building at 7315 N. Oracle Rd, which also houses the new Commerce Bank headquarters.

Barrio Queen’s first location in Tucson will have 5,000 square feet of indoor space and only about 3,000 square feet of covered terrace – with the perfect view of Pusch Ridge in the background.

Nicknamed the “Oro Valley Queen,” it offers more than 20 types of street tacos and 300 different tequilas ranging from $ 6 to $ 600.

When it comes to the excitement of everyone involved, it’s safe to say they are excited.

“When we first started planning how to revitalize and revitalize Two Oracle, we were hoping that an exciting new restaurant concept like Barrio Queen in Tucson would be included,” said Tucson Melissa Lal, President of Larsen Baker. “We know that their primary focus is on creating a flawless dining experience, authentic South Mexican cuisine and beautiful restaurant interiors inspired by the art of the Dia de los Muertos.”

This location will be the eighth Barrio Queen Arizona location brought to life by the owners Linda Nash and Steven Rosenfield in Phoenix more than fifteen years ago.

“Barrio Queen thrives on authenticity by delivering excellence in culture and cuisine,” says Steve Rosenfield, co-owner of Barrio Queen. “We can’t wait to open our doors in Tucson and become part of the community.”

Barrio Queen is currently finalizing its restaurant design and hoping to open at the end of 2021. The restaurant will be one of the two full-service restaurants in the newly developed Two Oracle Mixed Use Center.
