TUCSON (KVOA) – University of Arizona basketball coach Tommy Lloyd and the Wildcats had another shootout Thursday.

After that, players had a chance to stand up closer and more personal with reporters from the Tucson area.

We learned a little more about Arizona Warden Kerr Kriisa, who is from Estonia. He tells us that he’s got used to the 100-plus degree heat in the Old Pueblo and can’t get enough of Tucson’s huge variety of Mexican food.

“The weather here, I have to pay great respect to all the people who have to endure the weather here,” said Kriisa. “Also, I started to like Mexican food, and of course the mountains and sunsets here, it’s just a great place to be in general.”

Coach Tommy Lloyd spoke about the team as a whole.

“It’s been a great transition. It’s been a lot of fun to be consistently on the pitch with the guys over the last few months or so. We have a great group of guys who I think are at a really exciting point in their careers most of them are young players, “said Lloyd.
