As in previous years, Tucson Meet Yourself is assigned to a specific area, and this year it will be four blocks from the city Jacomé Square that is before Joel D. Valdez Main Library.
There will be more than 50 performance groups sharing music and dance Ethnic and Traditional Dance Festival in Arizona, and more than 30 food vendors representing at least 20 cultural regions.
“We planned this year’s Tucson Meet Yourself very carefully and deliberately,” said Maribel Alvarez placeholder image, Program director of the festival. “We produce a festival for the public, of course, but our loyalty is primarily to the artists and food vendors who can share their culture. Our close discussions with these participants – with whom we have had many decades of relationships – have helped us to plan a reduced festival that takes safety very seriously and at the same time enables celebration and fun. “
