Have you ever dreamed of slurping spaghetti pasta out of a bucket? Or maybe you’ve come up with something new to take with you on the run or at a peaceful picnic on Mount Lemmon.
Either way, you can soon cross it off your bucket list.
By the bucket, a spaghetti takeout restaurant originating in Payson, Arizona, is opening a Tucson location at 2130 N. Kolb Rd.

Owner Bret daCosta has been throwing spaghetti, meatballs and marinara sauce into buckets since 2018 and his restaurants have been increasing ever since. The East Side of Tucson is the first area to peek at the menu, which features buckets in three sizes.
There’s a small bucket with half a pound of spaghetti, the medium-sized bucket with a pound of spaghetti, and if you want to order a large family bucket, expect a pound and a half of spaghetti. Garlic bread is included in each tub, and meatballs can be added at an additional cost.

Buckets are fun, but if you’re not in the mood for that much food there are other options like meatballs, sandwiches, garlic bread, cheese bread, and cheesecake.
The spaghetti snack is slated to open in the next few months.
By The Bucket will be located shortly at 2130 N. Kolb Rd. For more information, visit bythebucket.com or follow By The Bucket on Facebook.
